What is it?

• The Elance Fixed Price Work Guarantee ensures that clients pay only for work received and contractors get paid for work delivered and accepted. 
• Contractors can start work with the guarantee that the funds are available in Escrow.
• Clients are guaranteed that they will be able to inspect work delivered before they release funds from Escrow.
• In the event of a dispute over the work, Elance will assist both parties in finding a resolution to the dispute before funds are released to either party. 

How do I qualify for the Elance Fixed Price Work Guarantee as a CONTRACTOR?

• Set up the job as fixed price with Escrow
• Define or accept one or more milestones that can be funded by the client.
• Start work on a milestone when your client has funded Escrow.
• Submit weekly Status Reports as the work progresses.
• Use the Workroom to record messages.
• Deliver all files through the Workroom or include a link to the files in the Workroom messages.
• The contractor account must be in good standing with Elance.

Payments not guaranteed:

• Miscellaneous and Bonus payments
• Refunds
