Why Has My Password Expired?

In order to improve the security of the Elance website, Elance has adopted new tougher password standards. 

Passwords now require 8 characters with at least one numeric character. In addition, you will be required to answer two security questions.

When  you attempt to log-in and find yourself at the “Elance Security Upgrade” page, an email will be sent immediately to your registered email address containing a link that you must follow to re-set your password. This will verify that you are the actual owner of the account.

If you do not receive the password reset email or no longer have access to registered email address, please contact Elance Customer Support by clicking the “Submit a Request” link above or email us support@elance.com, or by calling us at +1-877-435-2623 (+1-877-4-ELANCE) Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Pacific Time.
