Your Elance Profile is a great way to showcase your unique expertise and experience. A compelling profile is the best way to stand out and get the attention of great clients.
To edit your profile, log in to your Elance account and follow the steps below:
TIP: Check out an Elance blog post coaching prospective employers on how to review Elance profile pages.
To create or edit your portfolio, after you’ve created your profile, please log into your account and follow these steps:
If possible, use a common file type. Elance will accept any type of file, however, depending on the web browser, only some types of files will display inside the browser window. Using most browsers, all .gif image files, .jpg (or .jpeg) image files, .html Web documents and .txt text files will open in the browser window. You are limited to 1MB files per upload and the total space is 10MB. We recommend you use these types whenever possible.
NOTE: If you do not have access to your Provider Profile, please see your company account administrator.
New provider profiles and revisions to existing profile information will be reindexed in our search engine each evening. Once the profiles have been indexed, the new information will be displayed in search results and our main provider index.
Only providers with paid Elance memberships have a 'View' button on their profile to display their contact information. Paid providers can have their contact information displayed such as phone number, email address, personal URL, etc..
