All E-check payments will be placed on hold for 6 business days to allow the payment to clear before the funds become available.

In order to make an E-check payment, the bank account must be authenticated  through Elance.

For credit or debit card payments of $500 or less, funds will become available immediately. For deposits over $500, allow up to 3 business days for availability.

2 Stop payments may be requested 3 weeks after the issue date. (each stop payment incurs a $15 fee)

3 Tracers or inquiries can be initiated only after the expected time of receipt.

4 Recalls must be made within 24 hours from processing date.

5 Excluding weekends and holidays.

When a Withdrawal is submitted through your Account page, it will show the status of that request:

  • Processing - Member initially requests the withdrawal.
  • Pending - Withdrawal is under review.
  • InProcess - Withdrawal approved and order sent to Elance's merchant bank.
  • Withdrawal completed - this will be shown on your transaction history page with the date and amount transferred.
