Why is my payment not available for withdrawal?

If you have received a payment from you client but it is not available for withdrawal, please do not be alarmed. It is standard practice to wait 3 business days to verify the payment source and fully clear the funds. Once cleared, your funds will be freely available for your withdrawal. 
 
To ensure your funds are available to you once payment is released, we suggest asking your Client to fund Escrow at the beginning of your projects. When Escrow is funded at the onset of work, not only are you protected by Elance Escrow Payment Protection, but your funds will have cleared (as long as 3 business days has passed since funding) and be available for withdrawal.
