How do I edit or withdraw a proposal?

After you've submitted a proposal for a job, you may wish to edit or even withdraw your bid.

To update your proposal:

  1. From your My Elance page, click on the name of the job containing the proposal you would like to update.
  2. In the right column, above your proposal, click the Update link.

  3. Make the desired changes and click Preview.

  4. Confirm your details are correct and click Submit Proposal. A notification will be sent to the Client, advising your proposal has been updated.

To withdraw your proposal from a job:

  1. From your My Elance page, click on the name of the job from which you would like to withdraw your bid.
  2. In the right column, above your proposal, click the Withdraw link.

  3. Select a reason for your withdrawal, enter a message to the Client and click Withdraw Proposal. A notification will be sent to the Client, advising your proposal has been withdrawn.

Note:  Once you withdraw a proposal from a job, you will not be able to re-submit a proposal.
